Dan loved the Shrine as it embraced causes dear to his heart and fellow Shriners were his closest of friends. He was a natural mentor to young adults providing guidance and assistance and at times, even his and Elaines home as a place for them to stay.

Dan Trew Dan Trew, age 85 of Fort Worth, a retired public schools principal and college professor, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday morning, March 29, 2014. April 5 at University Baptist Church in Fort Worth with Dr. Interment was at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. on April 4 at Thompsons Harveson and Cole Funeral Home.A longtime member of the Church of Christ, Tillie enjoyed taking care of her pecan trees and tending to her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. and Clara Neese Lockhart in Wellington where he was a lifetime resident. Together, they had two sons, Calvin and Faron, and a daughter, Doris. Travis was self-employed in construction and a cattleman all his life. Travis was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, La Fern Riley, Emma Lee Herring, Eldon Lockhart, Maudine Judd and Velda Brown; and two grandchildren, Travis Lee De Voss in 1986 and Angel Ranell De Voss in 1988. Etta Faye Stahl Etta Faye Stahl, age 74 of Wellington, formerly of Amarillo, died Friday, May 16, 2014 in Wellington. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. Survivors include a son, Wendell Stahl of Wellington; two daughters, Bobbie Stahl of Arizona and Rhonda Vanhuss of Tennessee; a sister, Barbara Savage of Borger; seven grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Dan was a Mason from an early age and a 48 year member of the Shrine.She followed her husband from state to state and across half of Texas, from one construction job to the next, making a home and raising four children, two girls and two boys.After her husbands retirement they moved to Mansfield to be near her brothers.
